On softer shores, in open pores
I feel your waves rush in.
Take me over, blood and bone,
Into a lover's hymn.
Movements slow and thoughts are numb,
Taken in by the sea.
Ashamed to be so compelled
As to let you consume me.
Words tender and eyes closed,
Shadows along the sand,
Watching us spiral, float and tumble towards each other's land.
